Well, I decided that it was time to do a painting again. The weather is improving and I have somewhat resolved some personal issues – I'm ready to move forward again.

 

Here is a nice painting of the house called « Le Canard » (the duck). I'm happy to say that despite my lack of painting activity this winter I was able to kick off the 2016 painting year with a little success.

 

For this painting, I tried to find a secluded place (once again); so, if the painting turned out to be a disaster there would be no witnesses. It was pretty challenging to paint all of the trees – so much potential detail had to be simplified somehow.

 

Anyway, I feel like I'm still rapidly advancing in my techniques of handling oil paints. So, I'm excited to continue painting and to see what I can accomplish this year.

 

 

Alors, j'ai décidé qu'il était le bon moment pour faire un nouveau tableau. Le temps s'améliore et j'ai plutôt résolu quelques problèmes personnels – je suis prêt à avancer a nouveau.

 

Voici un tableau sympa d'une maison appelée « Le canard ». Je suis heureux à dire que malgré mon manque d'activité de la peinture cet hiver je suis arrivé à démarré 2016 avec un petit succès.

 

Pour ce tableau, j'essayais de trouver un endroit isolé (une fois encore) pour que si le tableau était un désastre il n'y aurait pas de témoignes. C'était un sujet plutôt difficile – avec tous les détails des arbres qui avait besoin d'être simplifiés d'un moyen d'un autre.

 

De tout façon, je ressent que j'avance rapidement dans mes techniques pour travailler avec la peinture en huiles. Donc, je suis passionné à continué à peindre et de voir ce que je peux accomplir cette année.
